Kementerian Perindustrian Republik Indonesia – Kemenperin is the Ministry of Industry of Republic Indonesia. The Ministry is the government ministry in Indonesia which oversees the industry affairs. Kementerian Perindustrian was formerly known as Departemen Industri (Depperin) or the Depertement of Industry. Kementerian Perindustrian responsible for the governance, regulation, advancement, promotion, management and growth of industry in Indonesia. Kementerian Perindustrian is based in Jakarta and its head office is registered at Jl Gatot Subroto Kav. 52-53 Jakarta Selatan. The Ministry of Industry was led by the Minister of Industry (Menperin) and since 2009 held by MS Hidayat. Kementerian Perindustrian has Directorate General (DG), namely DG of Manufacturing Based Industry, DG of Agro Based Industry, DG of High Tech. Industry, DG of Small and Medium Industry, DG of Regional Development, and DG of International Industrial Cooperation.
